Gaylen received his B.S. in Business Administration from Sterling College, Sterling, KS in 1980. Before interviewing with some large employers, his father asked him to spend the summer working in the family's insurance agency. That summer has lasted over 40 years! In 1999 he purchased the agency and has continued to grow it into a large regional agency.
Gaylen has served on numerous church and community boards, served as President of the West Yuma County Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the Yuma County Economic Development Corp, and President of the Northeast Colorado National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He currently serves as a member of the Connect for Health Colorado Broker Focus Group.
Gaylen is married to Vickie a retired elementary school teacher and part-time Realtor. They have 5 children and 14 grandchildren.
